Simon has spent most of his live in the music business, right from the early age of 3yrs when he picked up his first guitar and started to play "3 blind mice".....

soon afterwards he started to learn the piano, followed by the drums, Violin and then Bass guitar, which he continous to play to this day with The Union Gap uk.

Simon has perfomed in several bands over the years, forming his first band at School, with Moderate success, with songs being played on Radio 1, Radio 2 and many local radio stations.

He has also been a session Muscian and Vocalist appearing with many well known names over the years, including Roy Wood, Kelly Groucutt, The Cufflinks, The Honeybus, Ocean Colour Scene, plus many more...

Simon was offered the Job as Bass Player / Vocalist with The Union Gap uk back in 2001 and a little break in between has remained a constant figure since then....

Simon & Tom also embarked on a Duo Journey several years ago, under the Name of 'Heart & Soul' but now under the new guise of 'From The Gap' they continue to tour the UK with their explosive Jukebox show....
